FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where are you located?: Runamuk Photography's studio is located in Mt, Pleasant, Utah (about 90 minutes from Salt Lake City.
How far out should I book?: We typically book out 4-6 months in advance. Get on the calendar schedule as soon as possible, but at least 6-8 weeks prior to when you would like to receive your images back. This gives you an opportunity to take advantage of pre-session payment plans to fit your budget.
How do I book a session? Do I need to put down a deposit?: Step One is to book a personalized consultation call. Please fill out the booking form. The full session retainer is due when booking to secure your appointment. If I haven't received your session retainer within 48 hours of your consultation, your appointment will be made available to the next client in line.
Do you offer payment plans?: Yes! We offer 3 types of payment plans. We offer an in house prepayment plan where you can enter your personal client portal online and make payments as you like! This is my clients favorite option. Or you can setup automatic withdrawal on the dates of you prefer to be applied to collection of your choice.

We accept all major credit cards and we also accept Paypal & PayPal credit. This is a 6 month free financing option with Paypal.
What payment options do you accept?: I currently accept cash, credit, and Venmo. We also offer great in-house interest free pre-session payment plans and a PayPal Credit line. We are flexible and can work with most budgets to make your dream shoot come to life.
Will my photos go onto the internet if I have a photoshoot?: I only use your pictures online or in print if I have your permission and you have signed a model release allowing me to use the images for promotional use. Other than that, your experience is completely private (unless you share with your fav people in your life).
How long does it take to get the pictures back?: It takes approximately 4-6 weeks to receive all of your products ordered during your reveal session. I can accommodate special deadline requests. Just let me know what timeline you are working with.
Do you have a cancellation policy?: Life happens! It's no problem if for any reason you need to re-schedule with me, but your session fee is non-refundable. Reschedule fees may apply. Refer to the contract for additional information.

I'm not the right shape, shade or style

You are enough. Regardless of what society tells you about yourself, you are enough. The beauty of pinup/vintage photography is that it is for any shape, shade, or style of woman. You are gorgeous just as you are! You never need to worry about your beauty not coming across on camera. Leave your negativity at the door and allow me as a skilled makeup artist and photographer amplify what makes you amazing and leave you with a lasting memory of the experience.

What should I wear for my photo session?

I work closely with you to design your unique portrait session, but recommend bringing anything that makes you feel sexy and confident like fishnet stockings, high heels, garter belts, corsets, fancy or sparkly dresses. Wardrobe is important for this type of photography, and I provide almost all of it. It is absolutely essential to bring your inner diva. (I’ll provide the glamorous and sexy makeup and hairdo!).

Can I bring my own outfit or prop?

YES! While I am constantly adding items to the ever-expansive wardrobe and prop collection I have limited wardrobe, props, shoes, and jewelry to complement your photo session. Feel free to bring your significant other’s military shirt, jersey, favorite hat or t-shirt, helmet, musical instrument, golf clubs, etc.

Can you Photoshop me?

We will do our best to make your skin and body look amazing in camera so that when it comes time to retouch your images only light skin-smoothing, blemish removal, and bruise removal is done. We do not do any body manipulation without being asked (and I will try to talk you out of it first)!

What if I don’t like my pictures?

A: After photographing women for over 13 years, I’m confident you will be thrilled with the finished product. However, if for any reason you’re unsatisfied you may opt out of purchasing your photos.

I’m not a lingerie-type girl. Can I still do boudoir?

Absolutely! Lingerie is not the only way to look and feel sexy. You can do a beauty or boudoir shoot wearing just about anything your heart could desire. That’s why I have an in-depth wardrobe consultation before your session.

I’m not sure I feel comfortable spending money on myself.

I totally understand. That’s why I offer payment plans to make a portrait experience manageable for any budget. This is an experience that you will cherish for your lifetime and you’ll be able to look back at your pictures and cherish the memories and experience for years to come.
